Philosophy

I believe the most meaningful weddings are not the loudest ones.
They are calm, intentional, and deeply personal - designed with sensitivity, precision, and respect for what truly matters.
A wedding is not simply an event. It is a culmination of one’s life up to that moment - a day when loved ones gather, emotions surface, and something shifts quietly within us.

I do not believe meaningful weddings need to look a certain way. What matters is not whether something fits a category, but whether it feels true. My role is to gently support couples in creating a wedding that is warm, human, and led by the heart - while holding the structure and precision that allows everything to unfold with ease.

I hope each couple carries their wedding day not as a memory of a single event, but as a source of warmth that continues to influence how they live and love.

My Style & Approach

I specialise in destination and elopement weddings across Japan and the UK, with a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical living. Nature deeply inspires my work - from the landscapes we choose to the materials we source and the local artisans we collaborate with. I seek out authentic, non-touristic settings where couples can experience a more intimate and meaningful connection to place.

I am passionate about creating eco-conscious, socially mindful celebrations that honour both the environment and the communities involved. Every couple’s background, character, and story guide the design process. I value personalisation over tradition for tradition’s sake, and intention over expectation. My goal is to create weddings that feel original and unbound by rules - celebrations that reflect who you truly are, so you can experience the day naturally, as though welcoming loved ones into your own home. Throughout the planning journey, I hold the details carefully so you can relax and feel supported.

A Little More About Me

With over 13 years of experience planning weddings and events in Japan and the UK, I have come to understand that this work is ultimately about relationships.
The connections formed with couples and the creative partners who bring each celebration to life are what I treasure most.
Beyond weddings, I find joy in nature, animals, and plants. I am endlessly inspired by craftsmanship - whether at flower markets, local vegetable stalls, or meeting artisans devoted to their work.
Cooking for friends and family is one of my greatest pleasures, and I am always in search of beautiful food and meaningful hospitality. On quieter days, I enjoy travelling with my family - occasionally even for marathons.
Weddings, to me, are an extension of the same love: gathering people, creating warmth, and celebrating life with intention.
